Only within the last ten years have I learned to use the skills of active listening effectively. It has greatly helped my relationship with God as well. My worldview has expanded, my relationship and sensitivity with people have improved, I am a better problem solver, and life is much more meaningful. I am a more effective servant-leader. If only someone had taught me active listening when I was learning to read, write, and speak. It would have had a significant impact on my ability to help people
